Discovery should be straightforward

Business users can browse DPCO firms that have opted into the partner directory after manual licence review. A consultation request is free and does not grant access to the customer’s confidential audit answers or documents.

The directory is designed to show participating professionals, not to guarantee that every DPCO in Nigeria is listed or that the platform is endorsing one firm above another.

Case-specific authorisation and evidence sharing

Advanced case collaboration is a Pro feature. The client authorises a specific DPCO reviewer, and the reviewer must accept the assignment before gaining limited case access. Evidence is shared individually under separate controls.

Permissions must remain revocable. The system is designed to avoid giving one DPCO visibility into another firm’s clients. Production use of confidential evidence also requires verified identities, private storage and malware scanning.

A clear professional boundary

A DPCO remains responsible for its own independent professional work, review conclusions and any filing it undertakes. Privacy Needle is the software workspace, not the regulator or a substitute for a DPCO licence.

Partner approval inside Privacy Needle does not confer an NDPC licence. Users should verify current licensing and engagement terms directly before contracting professional services.
