From questionnaire to preliminary findings
The audit workspace contains an expanded assessment covering governance, processing activities, individual rights, security, contracts, transfers, incident response and related controls. Users can save answers and explanations, revisit unfinished sections and view a preliminary summary of declared gaps.
That summary distinguishes unanswered questions from reported weaknesses and reported strengths. A “Yes” answer is not treated as proof of compliance simply because someone selected it.
- Save and resume assessment questions
- View on-screen gaps and suggested next steps
- Record evidence references for review
- Track corrective actions and completion status
Professional report workpapers
The Pro reporting workflow is designed to generate editable Word and shareable PDF drafts using a formal audit-report structure. Draft reports include declared findings, recommendations, appendices and a space reserved for professional verification.
Before a report can be relied upon as a professional audit or a Compliance Audit Return, it needs the appropriate factual review, evidence evaluation, current regulatory template and any required licensed DPCO involvement.
What the software does not do
Privacy Needle AI does not make a statutory filing simply because a document was exported. It does not issue an independent audit opinion, impersonate a licensed DPCO or guarantee that an organisation satisfies every legal requirement.
The official NDPC process and applicable templates should be confirmed with the regulator and a currently licensed DPCO before submission.
Frequently asked questions
Can I complete the entire questionnaire for free?
The planned Free experience includes the self-assessment and on-screen preliminary findings. Editable DOCX/PDF exports are reserved for Pro.
Is the generated Word report editable?
Yes, the audit-workpaper exporter is designed to produce an editable DOCX report. It is a draft for review, not a signed professional attestation.
Does downloading a PDF mean my CAR has been filed?
No. PDF generation and official regulatory filing are entirely separate actions. Filing is handled under the applicable NDPC process through the appropriate licensed professionals.
